Alex Webster & Susan Webster
Susan and Alex are both graduates of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee where they specialised in Illustration. Having initially worked in industry (including free-lance work for DC Thomson) they had careers in education and now live in Nairn where they take inspiration from the wonderful Highlands of Scotland.
Over the years they have had many commissions (landscapes, seascapes and portraits) and, being a keen golfer, Alex has also been commissioned to paint many golf courses. Susan is a keen 'cold water swimmer' and has produced a number of paintings capturing the beauty of the sea. At present, they work mainly in acrylics and oils.
Their work sells in a number of galleries including 'The Jail' Dornoch, 'Logie Steading' near Forres, 'The Riverside Gallery' Inverness, 'Brodie Countryfare' near Forres, 'Househill' and 'The Brae Gallery' Nairn. Their work has sold throughout the UK and overseas (USA, Australia, Belgium, France, Spain..... )
